When this idea was pitched to Mayor Ferdie Estrella, he immediately gave his full support, “Ayusin na natin agad” – he said

This year’s theme “MAGSANAY, MAGKA-HANAPBUHAY, MAGTAGUMPAY” is intended to strengthen the promotion and advocacy of various TESDA programs and services, and expand access to TESDA scholarship and training programs to a wide range of clientele. This will also provide assistance to TVET graduates who are looking for employment.

It was held simultaneously in every local government unit (LGU) per province.  TESDA’s goal is to bring its different programs and services closer to the people with the help of LGUs and the Department of Labor and Employment.

Twelve companies (12) local companies have participated with their respective representatives who conducted the interviews and assessments. Fifteen (15) schools and colleges were also present offering number of technical courses available.

The event was formally opened by an opening remarks from Mr. Gilbert M. Castro – Center Administrator, RTCCL Guiguinto, together with Maria Yolanda M. De Jesus – Sr. TESD Specialist, Ms. Catherine C. Santos – TESD Specialist II.

Here are some of the interview statements from successful hired on the spot applicants:

Ms. Mildred Munsayac Bianzon from Brgy. Calantipay was one of the Hired on the Spot (HOTS) with IQOR Philippines for Customer Service Representative.

Very good ang ginawa ng TESDA with this kind of Job Fair na talagang maraming taong matutulungan and especially to Mayor Ferdie, talagang loyal na loyal kami and everything that he does is good for all Baliwagenyos.”

Ms. Ruselle Evardo  from Brgy. Concepcion – another successful applicant with IQOR Philippines

Baliwagenyos are truly blessed to have a Mayor who prioritizes employment and education programs.
