The Municipality of Baliwag thru the Public Employment Service Office in coordination with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and Bagong Henerasyon Partylist conducted the Contact Center Services Orientation on July 26, 2017 at the Baliwag Star Arena, Pagala, Baliwag, Bulacan. This training program that will run for 18 days will train the participants in interacting with customers and assisting them with their concerns over the phone. Some of the skills that the participants may acquire include: improving the participants’ pronunciation, intonation, and communication skills, specifically in English, making or receiving calls to/from customers, handling complaints and performing computer operation among others.
Mr. Clapton Eric Flores – trainer from Bagong Henerasyon Partylist oriented the participants of what to expect during the duration of the training. He also informed that this program is one of the in-demand and highest paying jobs not just in the Philippines but also abroad.
“This is a free contact center training that aims to develop in you the knowledge, skills, and attitude required from a contact center agent and would bring you one step closer to becoming effective contact center agents.” – he added.
Trainees have also shared their plans and insights why they joined the program.
“I would like to enhance my English communication skills especially with my grammar and sentence construction. This training would help me land a job in the contact center industry.” – Rhodora Manuel.
Ms. Manuel together with all the participants would also take an assessment exam to have a Contact Center National Certificate (NCII). Mr. Flores guaranteed that he would recommend the trainees to the companies that he have previously worked.
