JOBS AND BUSINESS FAIR: “MATATAG NA KABUHAYAN AT TRABAHO TUNGO SA PROGRESIBONG PAGBABAGO”

The Municipality of Baliwag under the leadership of Mayor Ferdinand V. Estrella in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Provincial Youth, Sports, Employment and Development Office (PYSEDO) and SM City Baliwag will facilitate a JOBS AND BUSINESS FAIR with the theme “Matatag na Kabuhayan at Trabaho Tungo sa Progresibong Pagbabago.”  It will be held on May 01, 2017 from 8:00-5:00 pm at The Event Center, SM City Baliwag, Bulacan. There will be 56 local and overseas agencies and companies that will participate to give the unemployed, displaced workers and the new graduates the opportunity to join the labor force thus providing job search assistance, more job options and immediate hiring for applicants in one venue.

This activity is a breakthrough in the LGU because it will not only feature job vacancies or TRABAHO but will also include two other concepts: NEGOSYO and KABUHAYAN.  Henceforth, all national and local job fairs to be undertaken shall adopt the TRABAHO, NEGOSYO and KABUHAYAN (TNK) concept.   DTI will be setting a booth on the day of the Jobs and Business Fair to apprise and advocate jobseekers to consider entrepreneurial and/or business opportunities.  In addition, jobstreet.com is also present as an exhibitor and will be distributing materials and tokens to the jobseekers        .

Prior to this event, a Pre-Employment Orientation and Anti-Illegal Recruitment and Trafficking in Persons Seminar will be conducted on April 28, 2017 (1:00 pm) at The Event Center, SM City Baliwag, Bulacan.  This program aims to help the jobseekers to be equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources in order to be more prepared and employable as they would sooner or later join the labor force.

To all our dear jobseekers, we wish you the best of luck in your job hunting! Bring your updated and winning resumes and wear business or corporate attire. See you all on the 1st of May.
